Topic 5: Proportional Relationships

Topic 5 Proportional Relationship

Proportional Relationships provides students with opportunities to apply their knowledge of proportionality to multistep ratio and percent problems (7.RP.3) and scale factor and scale drawing problems (7.G.1). Students connect proportions with percent equations and solve percent problems using proportional reasoning. Then they use proportional thinking to determine scale factors and create scale drawings.
